NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds

The 2026 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year (OROY) race is wide open after two weeks, with Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love still the betting favorite.

Last year, Carolina Panthers' receiver Tetairoa McMillan took home the award after he recorded 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns. McMillan became the third wide receiver to win the award in the 21st century, after Ja'Marr Chase (2021) and Garrett Wilson (2022).

A running back has not won the OROY Saquon Barkley in 2018, but prior to him it was not uncommon for the position.

The Favorites

Jeremiyah Love of the Arizona Cardinals opened as the preseason betting favorite for the OROY, and holds onto the top spot two weeks into the season. Love only has 70 yards on 20 carries in two games, but his production is expected to increase as the season continues and he gets more familiar with the offense.

Seattle Seahawks running back Jadarian Price has had a very similar start to his NFL career as his Notre Dame teammate, but Price is in a much better offense than Love. Price has rushed for 104 yards on 23 carries, but is competing with Emanuel Wilson and George Holani for touches.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Carnell Tate was the first pass catcher taken in the 2026 NFL Draft, and joined a very thin Titans offense which makes his a contender for the OROY. Tate has caught seven of his 11 targets for 65 yards, and is also expected to see further production as his chemistry with quarterback Cam Ward develops.

Early Risers

Denzel Boston, wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns, is the most notable riser on this list after opening the season with +3500 odds to win the award. Boston was selected in the second round of the draft, 15 picks after Cleveland selected KC Concepcion.

The wide receive has looked fantastic to start the year even with inconsistent quarterback play, catching seven of 11 targets for 154 yards and two touchdowns through two games. Concepcion has caught 10 of 11 targets for 71 yards and no touchdowns.

Other notable risers are backup running backs Jonah Coleman, Kaelon Black, and Emmett Johnson who has shown real promise early on this season. If the players in front of them on the depth chart miss any time, all three players could make a serious impact in their rookie year.

Other Candidates

Fernando Mendoza was the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, but has started the season as the backup to Kirk Cousins on the Las Vegas Raiders. Mendoza has incredibly high upside, but he'll need Kirk Cousins to be benched if he's going to play in 2026.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Caleb Douglas has shown off his abilities early on in the season, but playing with an unproven quarterback on a very poor offense means that everything has to go right for the 23-year-old if he's going to win the OROY.

Antonio Williams, Makai Lemon, Carson Beck, and Kenyon Sadiq are other players who have a shot at the offensive rookie of the year award in 2026.
