Both Brazil and Scotland enter this final group stage match with a chance to finish as group leaders, and the Canarinho will get a big boost to their lineup today.
After missing the team's first two World Cup group stage matches, Neymar Jr. seems to be on track to play tonight. The legendary striker hasn't played since May 17th as part of his Serie A side Santos, but he can never be counted out to score a goal - regardless of his form.
The 34-year-old scored in his national team debut all the way back in 2010 and is now Brazil's all-time leading scorer with 79 goals in 128 appearances. He has eight World Cup goals in his career - four in 2014 in Brazil, and two in both 2018 in Russia and 2022 at Qatar.
Brazil drew its first group stage match against Morocco, but had an easy 3-0 victory vs. Haiti last week. A defeat tonight could see them shockingly drop to third place, a significant setback for a team that has been steadily improving. With Raphinha sidelined, the team will look to the in-form Rayan to fill the void, while Neymar could also see his first minutes of the tournament.
Vinícius Júnior has been Brazil's main attacking threat, contributing two goals and one assist in the first two matches and the addition of Neymar Jr. could open up even more looks for him.
Brazil is -334 on the 3-way money line, while a draw is +450 and Scotland straight-up is +850. Ahead of kickoff at 6:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM CT / 3:00 PT from the Miami Stadium, here's a look at the odds for Neymar Jr. to score, assist, and more in his first match of the 2026 World Cup:
