San Diego Padres and Colorado Rockies are set for an NL West matchup on Monday night at Coors Field in Denver.

San Diego enters this contest riding a seven-game win streak after taking two of three from the Yankees and sweeping the Nationals and Giants.
Casey Mize will take the mound for the Padres on Monday night in Denver. He was traded from the Tigers to the Padres at the trade deadline and has struggled to find a groove with his new team.
Mize is sporting a 6.34 ERA through seven starts with the Padres, but the good news is that he has an extremely favorable matchup on his hands in this one.
The Rockies are riding a seven-game losing streak and have struggled to score runs on a consistent basis this season. Even when Colorado gets the offense rolling, their pitching lets them down.
Colorado's team ERA of 5.57 is the highest in baseball and Tomoyuki Sugano enters this matchup with a 5.30 ERA and 1.34 WHIP through 26 starts on the season.

This will be his first career start at Coors Field, which is sure to present some new challenges. Furthermore, the Rockies rank 6th in MLB with a team OPS of .774 at home. Mize might have his hands full.
Opposing hitters own an OPS of .848 against Sugano this season. He has struggled over the last month particularly and the Padres are coming off a series in which they scored 20 total runs in three games against the Giants.
San Diego has been a great offensive team on the road this season, as they see their OPS rise from .687 at home to .725 on the road. Now they get to face a struggling pitcher in an extremely hitter-friendly ballpark.
