The Miami Marlins franchise was founded on June 10, 1991, they were originally named the Florida Marlins.
The team made their debut season in 1993, later rebranding to the Miami Marlins in 2012. They have won two World Series in 1997 and 2003. The team plays at LoanDepot Park in Miami, led by star pitcher Sandy Alcantara.
The Miami Marlins play in the National League. They are one of five teams in the NL East Divison alongside, the Philadelphia Phillies, Atlanta Braves, Washtington Nationals, and New York Mets.
