Jamaine Ortiz has 17 wins, one loss and one draw from his 19 fights, with eight of those successes coming by knockout.
After winning his first 14 pro fights, Ortiz's draw came against Joseph Adorno in April 2021 in Florida, before he then responded with back-to-back victories over Nahir Albright and Jamel Herring.
Ortiz then suffered his only defeat to date when going down to Vasiliy Lomachenko in New York in October 2022 but he won his last fight, beating Antonio Moran last September by unanimous decision in Texas to set up this chance to take on Lopez Jr.
