Jake Paul is gearing up for his boxing comeback. The American content creator-turned-prizefighter is slated to headline a high-profile card in Dubai on December 24, with his opponent yet to be revealed.
The Christmas Eve bout will mark the 29-year-old's first appearance in the ring since his bruising encounter against former unified heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua last year. That clash ended in a sixth-round knockout defeat for Paul, leaving him with a double jaw fracture. Despite the severe setback, the Ohio native has shut down any talk of hanging up the gloves and remains committed to continuing his professional boxing journey.
The event is being staged by Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the promotional outfit Paul established in 2021, which formally confirmed that the cruiserweight will top the bill in the United Arab Emirates.
"I've spent years proving the skeptics wrong," Paul posted on social media. "I've taken real risks and stepped into the ring with fighters nobody ever thought I'd face. Nothing that happened has altered my self-belief or my ultimate goals."
Nothing that has happened has changed my self-confidence or my goals.
While Paul's challenger remains undisclosed for now, organizers are expected to announce the undercard matchups and further logistical details in the coming weeks. Recognized as one of the most lucrative and polarizing figures in modern combat sports, Paul's return is set to draw significant international attention.
