All you need to know about Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback, Julian Sayin, including stats, play style, and NIL deals.
A former five-star prospect committed to Alabama who spent a semester under Nick Saban, Sayin transferred to Ohio State after the legendary coach announced his retirement ahead of the 2024 season. Sayin put together a very productive 2025 season that saw him finish fourth in Heisman voting, though a poor performance in the postseason led to the demise of the Buckeyes' hopes to win back-to-back national championships.
Sayin is entering his redshirt-sophomore season, making him eligible for the 2027 NFL Draft as the season's conclusion.

Sayin is an ultra-fast processor with a quick release that let's him get the ball out quickly to his talented wide receivers. He can throw with pace, touch, and accuracy, able to make every throw needed for an explosive offense.
However, a small build and lackluster ability to scramble and make "backyard" plays happen has put some water on his fire when discussing him as an NFL prospect.
Considering Sayin's name recognition and spotlight as Ohio State's starting quarterback, he's received plenty of NIL deals and is valued at $2.5 million, per On3's NIL Valuation, which ranks as the 21st highest in college football.
Sayin has secured multi-year deals with companies like Panini America, as well as partnerships with Dr. Pepper, Wingstop, Dick's Sporting Goods, and more.
