FIFA World Cup Final Ticket Prices in 2026

The World Cup is rapidly approaching, and for fans it's time to start planning travel, hotels, and tickets for the tournament.

The FIFA World Cup is a global celebration of culture and sport, but for the average fan, the cost to attend the matches is becoming increasingly harder to afford.

The United States and FIFA have both been under scrutiny for the cost of attending the tournament. Supporters from many countries, including Senegal and Ghana will also have to pay around $15,000 for visa, in addition to the thousands of dollars spent on flights, hotels, and record-high ticket prices.

Ticket prices for each match of the tournament are often reaching prices upwards of $1,000. The opening matches for Mexico, Canada, the United States, and later rounds of the tournament have been among the most expensive matches of the tournament, in addition to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final matches.

FIFA's pricing has been controversial since the the governing body announced that they would use dynamic pricing for the first time at the World Cup, meaning that the price of the most desired games will rise with the amount of tickets sold.

The ticket prices released on Wednesday, April 1, are up significantly from the prices of the same matches back in December. This dynamic pricing is unfortunately pricing out fans from around the world.
