Rookie guard Dylan Harper has been enormous for the Spurs this postseason, but his availability for Game 3 is in doubt with an adductor injury.
Harper has seen an uptick in usage against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference finals due to his teammate De'Aaron Fox missing the first two games of the series with an ankle injury.
Harper thrived for the San Antonio Spurs' double-overtime game one victory in OKC, scoring 24 points on 8-20 shooting from the field. The 20-year-old also pulled down 11 rebounds, dished out 6 assists, and came up with 7 steals in 47 minutes of action.
Harper got off to another decent start in game two, but after 25 minutes on the floor he limped off to the locker room with a suspected hamstring injury.
Harper received an MRI on his leg, which showed he actually injured his adductor, not his hamstring. Due to the injury Harper is listed as questionable for game three.
Fox and OKC's Jalen Williams are also questionable to play in game three on Friday night.
Harper is considered a true game-time decision on Friday night. The rookie guard will reportedly go through his typical pregame routine before a decision is made on his final status.
If Harper suits up for Game 3 he will likely not play extended minutes in order to keep him healthy for the remainder of the series. If he does not play game three, Harper is likely to be back in time for game four in San Antonio.
