America women's tennis star Coco Gauff has the third-shortest odds to win the Australian Open title.
Gauff is tied with Elena Rybakina at +700 to win the first Grand Slam tournament of the year.
Only Iga Swiatek (+500) and 2025 AO runner-up Aryna Sabalenka (+187) have shorter odds in the outright market. Fellow American and 2025 Australian Open winner Madison Keys is seventh at +1600.
Gauff is currently ranked as the World No. 3, sitting behind the aforementioned Swiatek and Sabalenka. She achieved a career-high ranking of World No. 2 in June 2024.
In that same year, Gauff had her best AO finish of her career when she made the semifinal before falling to Sabalenka 6-7, 4-6.
With the draw now finalized, there's a chance that Gauff could matchup with tennis legend Venus Williams in the second round and American Emma Navarro in the fourth round. Gauff is 2-0 against Williams all-time as they matched up in the 2019 Wimbledon and 2020 Australian Open.
On the other hand, Navarro is 2-1 against Gauff all-time with victories over her at the 2024 Wimbledon and 2024 US Open.
Gauff comes into the year with 11 career singles titles to her name, including two majors - the 2023 US Open and 2025 French Open. Can she go the distance to win her first-ever Australian Open in Melbourne this time?
