The first Grand Slam of every new year is the Australian Open and bet365 has odds up for the outright winner.
The first round of the tournament for men's and women's singles commences on Jan. 18 while the men's final will take place on Feb. 1.
The best in the world will compete on the hard court where they'll look to prevent two-time defending champion Jannik Sinner win his third AO in a row.
Here's a look at the top-ten favorites to claim the title:
Jannik Sinner | -110 |
Carlos Alcaraz | +162 |
Novak Djokovic | +1200 |
Alexander Zverev | +2000 |
Daniil Medvedev | +2000 |
Alex De Minaur | +4000 |
Ben Shelton | +4000 |
Taylor Fritz | +4000 |
Alexander Bublik | +5000 |
Felix Auger Aliassime | +5000 |
The top three remain similar to people who have kept up with tennis recently: Sinner (-110), Alcaraz (+162), and Djokovic (+1200) are the clear top favorites being the only three contestants with odds shorter than +2000.
Sinner played in the Australian Open's "One Point Slam" in which only one point decides the winner and loser of the match. The Italian made it to the championship but lost to amateur Jordan Smith. Luckily for Sinner, the actual Australian Open consists of five-set matches.
Ranked No. 1 in the world, Alcaraz is Sinner's closest competitor. The two have yet to face each other in an Australian Open, but Alcaraz got the best of him in the French Open and US Open last year.
World No. 3 Alexander Zverev is fourth in the odds at +2000, while the veteran Daniil Medvedev rounds at the top five, also priced at +2000.
Next up is the Australian De Minaur (+4000) who is ranked No. 6 in the world. He reached the quarterfinal of his local tournament last year.
The two top Americans, Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz, are also both priced at +4000 as each looks for their momentous breakthrough campaign in a grand slam event. Shelton lost in the semis to Sinner last year as he became the youngest American man to reach that stage in 22 years.
Fritz's best Australian Open result came in 2024 when he also lost to Sinner, this time in the quarterfinals.
Alexander Bublik and the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime close the top ten, each +5000 to win it all.
