America men's tennis star Taylor Fritz has the sixth-shortest odds to win the 2026 Australian Open.
Fritz is +2800 to win the first Grand Slam tournament of the year - the same odds he had entering the 2025 AO in which he was eliminated in the third round by Gael Monfils.
Only Jannik Sinner (-120), Carlos Alcaraz (+160), Novak Djokovic (+1400), Alexander Zverev (+2500) and Daniil Medvedev (+2800) have shorter odds in the outright market. Fellow American Ben Shelton is seventh in the odds at +4000.
Fritz is currently ranked as the World No. 9 and has a career high ranking of No. 4 in November 2024. He reached the quarterfinals of the same tournament in that year before falling to Djokovic.
With the draw finalized, it looks like Fritz's toughest opponent could be against World No. 5 Lorenzo Musetti to reach the quarterfinals. Fritz will matchup against the Frenchmen Valentin Royer in Round 1.
Fritz enters this Major with 10 career titles to his name. Can he go the distance to win his first-ever Grand Slam tournament in Melbourne this time?
