Christian Pulisic and the USMNT will be back in action tomorrow at the 2026 World Cup, this time in a knockout stage match vs. Bosnia.
Pulisic had an up-and-down group stage round as he played a wonderful first half in the squad's 4-1 win over Paraguay, but he missed the second half and all of the next game against Australia with a calf issue.
He masterfully set up Folarin Balogun's two goals in the inaugural match, recording an assist in 45 minutes of play. The captain returned against Turkiye, albeit only playing 33 minutes in a game that had no affect on the group stage standings.
Now, presumably at full health, the USMNT is excited about their chances to advance. They'll get Bosnia & Herzegovina in the Round of 32 and the winner of Belgium vs. Senegal in the Round of 16, should they defeat Bosnia.
Pulisic will look to add to his national team goal total which sits at 31 - the fifth most in United States' history. The match will be played at the San Francisco Bay Area Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 8:00 PM ET, 5:00 PM PT.
