The Atlanta Dream take on the Golden State Valkyries in the WNBA's first Game 7 in league history.
Matchup | Atlanta Dream vs. Golden State Valkyries |
Date | Saturday, October 31st |
Start Time | 8:00 PM ET |
Location | Chase Center, San Francisco, CA |
TV Channel | USA Network |
The Dream were in a 3-2 hole coming into Game 6 in Atlanta, but a torrid shooting start from three had the home team leading from wire-to-wire.
Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray were a combined 9-13 from three, while Angel Reese led the way in the rebounding and playmaking department. Their defense was spectacular too, holding the Valks to 31.4% from the field. With their elite guards making shots and defending, Atlanta showed exactly why they are in the Finals.
Golden State will have to get back to what made them successful earlier in the series. Stout defense and keeping Reese off the boards led to their Game 4 and Game 5 wins.
It should be a very raucous crowd at the Chase Center where the very first Game 7 in WNBA history will take place on Saturday.
