The Toronto Argonauts starting quarterback, Chad Kelly, will return to CFL action on Friday night against the winless Ottawa Redblacks after missing the last two games with a hand injury.
Kelly, 32, has passed for the 5,067 yards this season, which is third in the CFL and already a career high. He's also thrown 33 touchdowns and 24 interceptions in 15 games.
The Argonauts have already clinched second place in the East, and will look to prepare the for the CFL playoffs against the 0-16 Ottawa Redblacks, who are looking to avoid the first winless season in CFL history.
The Redblacks have officially named Bryson Barnes as the starting quarterback against the Argonauts, which will be the 24-year-old's first CFL start. The Redblacks have been searching for answers all season, but have not found what they have been looking for. Maybe Barnes can be the spark that Ottawa needs to end the longest losing streak in CFL history at 20 straight games.
Barnes spent five seasons playing college football at Utah and Utah State, passing for 5,684 yards, 47 touchdowns, and 24 interceptions in his career.
