Gabby Wilson and the Golden State Valkyries earned a convincing win over the reigning WNBA Champions, the Las Vegas Aces, in Game 1 of the Semifinals. Wilson scored 25 points, pulled down 11 rebounds, and contributed five assists in Game 1. Wilson is crushing it so far in the playoffs, averaging 25 points and six rebounds in four games.
The Aces put up a strong fight, with A'ja Wilson, Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young combining for 51 of the Aces 60 total points, but the supporting cast was not good enough to get the Game 1 win on the road.
In Game 2, Wilson is expected to bring her A-game in hopes of tying the series before heading to Las Vegas for games 3 and 4.
