Year on year, a number Europe's top middle-distance horses flock to Paris to compete in its feature contest, the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. The Arc boasts an impressive roll of honour, with winners including: Mill Reef, Dancing Brave, Sea The Stars, Golden Horn and Enable.
Specialising in Flat racing, Longchamp also hosts the French 2,000 and French 1,000 Guineas, officially named the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches and the Poule d'Essai des Poulains respectively.
