Luke Littler headlines the opening night of the World Grand Prix on Monday as he begins his quest to go back-to-back in Leicester.
The Nuke is my tip to be holding aloft the coveted title on Sunday night, but given the incredibly short odds he possesses against Luke Woodhouse in his opening assignment, I won't be including him within my night one accumulator.
My first selection is for Nathan Aspinall to beat Kevin Doets. Now I know Nathan struggles with a bit of dartitis but he's been scoring some really big number on the floor recently.
Danny Noppert is another one I fancy, and I know he was hurt after missing out on the Premier League so he will be determined to put himself right back in the mix for next year with some deep runs over the coming months.
He's superb on double tops and the double-in format will work to his advantage.
I am also taking Johnny Clayton to maintain his outstanding form in what is a very tough clash with the Polish Eagle, Krzysztof Ratajski.
He's so consistent on the TV stage nowadays and while he may have to come through one or two difficult moments, I do feel he will get the job done and advance through to the second round.
Finally, I am taking Rob Cross to beat Wessel Nijman in a match that could prove to be one of the best of the first round.
There's no doubt that Wessel has had the better year so far, but he just can't seem to find the form he shows off the TV on it, and we all know that Rob rises to the occasion when the spotlight falls upon him on the big stage.
