Phil Taylor & Adrian Lewis's doubles record ahead of MODUS Super Series return including win percentage & full list of matches

Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis will attempt to roll back the years when they reunite to represent England at the MODUS Super Series International Pairs Tournament in November.

The event will represent 16-time champion of the world Taylor's first professional event in almost a decade after he bowed out of the sport following the 2018 World Darts Championship.

The Power was beaten by Alexandra Palace debutant Rob Cross in the showpiece final, ending his hopes of adding to his record-breaking tally of titles in the sport's showpiece event.

Taylor, who turned 66 in August, had ventured onto the World Seniors Tour after ending his spell within the pro ranks but made the decision to seemingly call time on his tungsten career two years ago due to an ongoing hip injury.

However, the sport's biggest name has now been coaxed out of retirement by long-term friend and former darting protege Lewis -- who has been absent from the PDC Tour himself for a couple of years -- with the two set to team-up for the first time since reigning supreme at the World Cup of Darts in 2016.

Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis are one of the most feared partnerships in professional darts, with the Staffordshire stars having won 24 of their 25 matches in professional matches together -- a staggering 96% win ratio.

Regarded as the most dominant World Cup of Darts paring of all-time, the pair romped to glory in the PDC event in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016, with their only defeat coming in the 2014 final.

Dutch greats Raymond van Barneveld and Michael van Gerwen managed to do what no other team had managed on that occasion, in seeing off the English behemoths to record a 3-0 final success in Germany.

Taylor and Lewis bounced back emphatically however, teaming up to add titles number three and four to their names in the following two years, with their success in 2016 especially poignant.

A 3-2 victory, which was sealed by Lewis' 4-1 hammering of MVG in the decider, secured the Englishmen a huge victory in what was their last match together as a twosome.
