The 13th edition of the Women's Cricket World Cup takes place in India in 2025, with Australia looking to retain their 2022 crown.
Since losing the inaugural final to England in 1973 on points, Australia have won seven out of the remaining 11 tournaments.
In fact, such is their dominance in this competition, there have only been two finals which haven't included the Australians. Both finals were won by England with New Zealand the losing finalists (1993 & 2009).
The next tournament takes place in 2025 in India and Australia will be looking to win back-to-back tournaments for the first time since they won three in a row between 1978 and 1988.
