Five teams have secured their passage to the EFL Cup fourth round and 11 spots remain as the third round is split across two weeks to compensate for those in European action.

Premier League sides Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Newcastle United have all booked their spot in the fourth round of the competition, and they're accompanied by Bradford City, who defeated fellow League One side Leyton Orient 3-1 in the third round.

There's guaranteed to be at least one more League One side in the EFL Cup fourth round draw as Peterborough United host Barnsley.

When is the EFL Cup fourth round draw?

The draw for the EFL Cup fourth round will be held on Wednesday 16th September.

It is scheduled to begin following the conclusion of Manchester United's round three tie against Brighton, which will kick-off at 20:00 BST.

The EFL Cup third round draw will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
