We've delved through the archives and picked out every winner of the EFL Cup since Aston Villa reigned supreme in the inaugural staging of the competition back in 1961.
Liverpool are the most decorated club in EFL Cup history having tasted success in the competition on ten occasions - most recently during the 2023/24 campaign.
The Anfield giants won the first of their ten-trophy haul back in 1981, 20 years after Villa overcame Rotherham United in the first EFL Cup final.
Since the inception of the tournament there have been a total of 21 different winners, with 12 of those establishing themselves as multiple winners.
Manchester City have lifted the trophy eight times, just two behind Liverpool's record of ten, whilst Manchester United (6), Chelsea (5), Aston Villa (5) and Tottenham Hotspur (4) have also enjoyed plenty of success.
West Ham United, Everton and Newcastle United have all reached the showpiece final twice, but have been beaten on each occasion.
