West Ham United v Wrexham team news: Mass changes for both sides at the London Stadium

West Ham United will move to the summit of the Championship for the first time this season providing they can make home advantage count against Wrexham.

The Hammers endured a tough start to life back in the second-tier following their relegation in May, picking up just two points from their openign three fixtures, but have since picked up nine points from their subsequent three leaving them two points behind early pace-setters West Bromwich Albion.

A fourth straight league victory against their Welsh opponents this evening will see them move a point clear of the Baggies though, although they could go back top with a positive result when they host Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

Wrexham won't be a pushover in the capital though, despite having won just one of their six Championship outings to date.

Phil Parkinson's men have established themselves as the league's draw specialists thus far, picking up a point in four of their fixtures, with their solitary league loss coming against Birmingham City last month.

Victory on the road in East London this evening would propel them into the play-off positions.
