Wales are in search of their first win of the calendar year when welcoming Norway to the Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday night.
After an impressive start to life with the Dragons, Craig Bellamy finds himself in need of a victory to prevent any premature scrutiny.
Wales are yet to score in the 2026/27 Nations League campaign, losing 1-0 to Portugal and falling to a 2-0 defeat against Denmark.
Their last victory dates back to November 2025 -- where they defeated North Macedonia in rampant 7-1 fashion -- and Bellamy will be hoping that his side can rediscover the form that took them antagonisingly close to the 2026 World Cup.
Bellamy will be wary of the threat that Norway pose -- with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland heading into the game off the back of scoring three goals in two games -- but he'll also know that Wales supporters will demand enthusiasm after a dismal run of form.
The Dragons have faced two top sides in Portugal and Denmark, and so Bellamy won't be too frustrated with conceding three goals. He may opt for the same back four that started in their 2-0 defeat to Denmark, and captain Ben Davies will be looking to bounce back after gifting Denmark the opener in Copenhagen.
A change in midfield could see Jordan James -- who is yet to make a starting appearance since signing on loan for Wolves in the summer -- return to the XI in place of the inexperienced Charlie Savage.
The absence of attacking duo Harry Wilson and David Brooks leaves Bellamy with decisions to make in the front line.
Brennan Johnson, Sorba Thomas and Daniel James could retain their spots in the XI, while Lewis Koumas may return to the side after featuring as a substitute against Denmark last time out.
(4-2-3-1): Danny Ward; Neco Williams, Chris Mepham, Ben Davies, Connor Roberts; Ethan Ampadu, Jordan James; Dan James, Lewis Koumas, Sorba Thomas; Brennan Johnson.
