From Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Mateo Kovacic, we take a look at the most expensive player sales from Inter Milan.
By virtue of lifting Serie A on 21 occasions, Inter have employed the services of a wide range of notable names, with many of them eventually departing the club for a decent fee after experiencing huge success in the Italian capital.
Among Inter's most expensive sales are a handful of extremely talented, and sometimes all-time great, forwards.
Swedish striker Ibrahimovic netted 66 times in 116 matches for I Nerazzurri, winning a hat-trick of league titles before moving onto Barcelona for £40m.
There is also Ronaldo. The Brazil legend was arguably at his absolute peak when playing at San Siro after joining for a world record fee, landing the first Ballon d'Or of his career and being named Serie A Footballer of the Year during his first season at the club. Before injuries started to seriously impact his career, Ronaldo was also named Player of the Tournament at the 1998 World Cup whilst with Inter at club level.
Romelu Lukaku -- who tops the list after his record move to Chelsea -- is another forward that experienced great success at Inter, joined by Mauro Icardi, Mario Balotelli, Hernan Crespo and 2010 treble-winner Samuel Eto'o.
