Portsmouth and Swansea City are reportedly exploring a loan move for Manchester City defender Kian Noble.
On The Minute have reported that the two Championship clubs are monitoring the player's situation as the Cityzens work out the next stage of Noble's development.
Noble is highly regarded at the Etihad Stadium and he has represented England across various age groups at youth level.
The 19-year-old centre-back made 32 appearances for Man City's development side last season and his performances earned him a nomination for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season award.
His parent club will want Noble to have the opportunity to play regular first-team football if he does go out on loan, with both Swansea and Portsmouth likely to tick that particular box.
Portsmouth will be looking to kick on this season after stabilising themselves in the Championship in the last two seasons.
However, John Mousinho's side suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Queens Park Rangers in their opening match of the season at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Swansea were victorious in their Championship curtain-raiser as they won 2-1 at Stoke City.
