The record for the fastest serve ever recorded in professional tennis history belongs to Australian Sam Groth, who clocked 263.4 km/h at an ATP Challenger event in Busan, South Korea in May 2012.
Sizeable in stature at 6ft 4ins, Groth reached a career highest ATP ranking of 53 and won 16 ATP Tour doubles titles.
Number two on this list is Frenchman Albano Olivetti who recorded a serve speed of 257.5 km/h on the ATP Challenger Tour at the 2012 Internazionali Trofeo Lame Perrel–Faip in Bergamo, Italy.
A doubles specialist, Olivetti achieved a career best doubles performance at the US Open in 2023 when reaching the quarter-finals alongside American Robert Galloway.
Renowned for his ferocious serve throughout his distinguished singles career, John Isner is ranked third on this list with his fastest ever serve recorded at 253 km/h during his participation at the 2016 Davis Cup for the United States.
The 6ft 10ins giant reached as high as number eight in the ATP singles rankings, with his best Grand Slam performance coming at Wimbledon in 2018 when he reached the semi-finals before losing out to South African Kevin Anderson.
