Hull City and Sunderland are reportedly targeting a move for highly rated Royal Charleroi midfielder Yacine Titraoui.
Reports have suggested that the player would be extremely eager for a move to the English top flight, with a number of clubs across the continent credited with interest in securing his signature.
The interest from the two Premier League sides was initially reported back in April, with both sides keen to strengthen their respective squads ahead of next season.
Rumours have recently resurfaced in France, with various papers suggesting that Hull City and Sunderland will go all out to secure the 22 year-old's signature this summer.
The central midfielder has made five appearances for his nation Algeria since his debut in 2021 and was included in their squad for the upcoming World Cup this summer.
He did miss out on selection for the 2025 African Cup of Nations, with the upcoming world showpiece presenting the Algerian with the perfect opportunity to put himself in the shop window for a transfer.
Titraoui only joined the Belgian Pro League side two years ago, making the move from Paradou AC in his home country for €1.2m, after registering 25 goals and assists in 86 matches from midfield.
The Algerian is reportedly entering the final year of his current deal, with suggestions that he has a contract until 2027.
An asking price of around £10m has been mentioned to get prise him away from the Belgian side, a fee which both Hull and Sunderland would comfortably afford.
His current club, Royal Charleroi, are reportedly hoping that a strong World Cup showing could cause his value to increase significantly, earning them a hefty transfer fee this summer.
