Scotland head coach Sebastien Pocognoli has welcomed Scott McTominay back to his squad ahead of their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures against North Macedonia and Switzerland in November.
McTominay was a notable absentee from Pocognoli's first squad as Scotland boss as the Napoli star was sidelined after undergoing minor heart surgery.
The 29-year-old has been in emphatic form since his return, netting a brace in consecutive fixtures against Bodo/Glimt in the UEFA Champions League and Roma in Serie A.
McTominay replaces Kenny McLean in the Scotland camp as the Norwich City midfielder misses out through injury, while Scott McKenna is also absent after suffering a back strain whilst representing Dinamo Zagreb.
A surprise addition to the last squad, the uncapped Kristi Montgomery is selected once again and is in contention to make his national team debut. The Blackburn Rovers ace has started in all but one Championship fixture under Tony Mowbray this term.
He is accompanied by Rangers defender James Penrice, on loan from AEK Athens, who receives his first-ever call up.
Che Adams and Kieran Tierney also return to the fold, while Lennon Miller, Josh Doig, Colby Donovan and James Wilson drop out.
Adams had a brief spell on the sidelines with an abductor issue, but the forward has returned in encouraging form for Torino with two goals in five Serie A appearances.
Andy Robertson is included and the Tottenham full-back can surpass Sir Kenny Dalglish's record of 102 caps if he features in both UEFA Nations League matches at home to North Macedonia on 13th November and away at Switzerland on 16th November.
