We take a look back at every winner of the UEFA Nations League since Portugal reigned supreme in the competition's inaugural staging back in 2019.

First created in 2018, the UEFA Nations League is into its fourth campaign with three of European football's genuine heavyweights having already tasted success in the competition.

Portugal captured the first crown, seeing off Netherlands in the 2019 final, before France edged past Spain in the 2021 showpiece to etch their name onto the silverware for the first time.

Last time out, in 2023, Spain dramatically saw off Croatia in the final by virtue of a 5-4 penalty shootout victory after the two sides were unable to be separated following normal and extra time.
