The only two remaining unbeaten teams in the inaugural European T20 Premier League clash on Saturday morning when Rotterdam Dockers host Edinburgh Castle Rockers.
It is the Scottish outfit that top the league, owing to their superior net run-rate and they handed out a convincing defeat to Belfast Wolves last time out in The Hague. JJ Smuts continued his fine start to the tournament with the bat, making 98, and Englishman Tom Curran picked up four wickets to help the Rockers win by 59 runs.
The Dockers have also been impressive thus far, chasing down totals in all three of their completed matches, largely thanks to major contributions from South African duo Faf du Plessis and Anrich Nortje.
After making scores of 83* and 79 already in the competition, it is no surprise to see Du Plessis top the betting to be named Player of the Match at 13/2. The 42-year-old has been rolling back the years, scoring some 93 runs than any of his teammates and, as a consequence, is a 13/5 to be the Dockers' Top Batter.
The betting is far tighter where Top Bowler is concerned for the Dockers, with not much to separate Anrich Nortje (13/5), David Wiese (3/1), Roelof van der Merwe (15/4) at the top of the market.
That trio are faced with the challenge of dismissing the third-highest run-getter in the tournament in Smuts. He's amassed 147 runs in three completed matches so far -- 98 of those coming in one knock -- at an average of 47.00 and he is 15/4 to top score for the Rockers.
Despite that impressive record, he is not favourite to be the Rockers' Top Batter, instead USA wicket-keeper batter Andries Gous heads the betting at 3/1.
