Portsmouth are reportedly interested in securing the signing of Rangers youngster Calum Adamson.
The 18-year-old midfielder spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Alloa Athletic in Scottish League One.
Adamson featured 36 times in all competitions for Alloa and contributed five goals and five assists during a breakthrough campaign.
The Scottish youth international is now in the final 12 months of his contract at Ibrox and a number of teams have been alerted to his potential availability according to Team Talk.
Rangers are keen to keep hold of the midfielder but much will depend on where Adamson sees his long-term future.
The Gers are open to the idea of loaning Adamson out again and the likes of St Mirren and Kilmarnock are reportedly keen.
His maturity and technical ability in the centre of midfield has alerted Portsmouth, who will be keen to push on this season after securing their survival in the Championship in the last two seasons.
Whilst the club will be looking for players who can make an immedfiate impact in a tough league, the opportunity to sign one of Scottish football's brightest prospects appeals.
Fellow Championship sides Bristol City and Middlesbrough are also exploring a potential deal for Adamson, while scouts of Premier League clubs Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest are also monitoring the midfielder.
