One of the most decorated clubs in world football, Real Madrid have won a record 15 UEFA Champions League titles and 36 Spanish league titles since their foundation in 1902.
Throughout the club's history 800 players have donned the famous white shirt at least once in an official fixture.
Of those, the oldest player in the 21st century to turn out for Los Blancos is Luka Modric.
The legendary midfielder was 39 years, and 10 months when he replaced Jude Bellingham in their 4-0 defeat by Paris Saint-Germain in the 2025 UEFA Champions League semi-final.
Interestingly, only one goalkeeper features on the list of Real's oldest players since the year 2000 - former Liverpool shot-stopper Jerzy Dudek.
After his heroics in the Reds' 2005 European campaign, Dudek arrived in the Spanish capital two years later to serve as backup to longtime Real goalkeeper Iker Casillas.
Dudek made just 12 appearances in all competitions during his four-year stint at the Santiago Bernabeu, but still managed to make his way into the record-books as the second-oldest goalkeeper in the club's history when he started a 8-1 win over UD Almeria in May 2011 aged 38 years, 1 month and 28 days.
