Tom Aspinall is 8/13 to be UFC Heavyweight Champion on 31st December 2026.
After storming back from injury to capture the heavyweight title last year, Aspinall has endured a frustrating 12 months in 2025.
In June the 32-year-old was finally crowned undisputed champion following Jon Jones' short-lived retirement but had to wait until October for his return to competition.
Against perennial contender Ciryl Gane, Aspinall was poked in the eye at the end of a competitive first round and was rendered unable to continue - resulting in the fight being ruled a no contest.
The damage from the unintentional foul has left Aspinall at an impasse, with the champion set to undergo surgery on both eyes in the coming weeks.
Should Aspinall be able to return to action in the new year he will likely face Gane in a rematch, having already cleared out much of UFC's heavyweight division during his ascent up the rankings.
Aspinall is one of the most complete heavyweights ever to grace the Octagon. But will he be holding the belt when 2026 is all said and done?
