Dana White has announced Zuffa Boxing will host its inaugural event on the 23rd January.
The UFC president has long stated his ambition to try and replicate his success in the world of boxing, with Zuffa Boxing first being announced during the lead-up to Floyd Mayweather's clash with Conor McGregor back in 2017.
The venture will see White partner up with Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh as they look to become the new dominant force in prizefighting.
White was part of the promotional team behind September's megafight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford that saw the American triumph via decision in front of a capacity crowd at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
While that event featured two of the sports biggest names, the fighters set to feature on Zuffa Boxing's maiden event have not been revealed at the time of writing, with the promotion yet to publicly announce any signings.
Despite their lack of signings, however, TKO have announced that they will look to hold 12 events across 2026 - with up to four of those set to feature some of the biggest names in the sport akin to the Canelo vs Crawford showdown.
January's event is set to take place the day before UFC 324, which will mark the UFC's first event since signing a historic deal with Paramount that will see all US subscribers able to watch the event without paying any additional fees.
“We are planning to launch our first fight on January 23, which is the night before our first UFC fight," TKO president and COO Mark Shapiro said.
“So back to back nights, a big weekend for TKO to say the least.”
UFC 324 will be headlined by a title double-header featuring Kayla Harrison defending her bantamweight title against the returning Amanda Nunes in the co-main event, and Paddy Pimblett taking on Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight belt in the headline bout.
