bet365 have priced up Alex Pereira to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship at 10/1.
Note: An interim heavyweight title does not count
With a string of spectacular knockouts under his belt since his UFC debut in 2021, Alex Pereira has become one of the most popular stars on the current roster.
The Brazilian rose to the top of the middleweight division on a collision course with long-time rival Israel Adesanya, before stopping the New Zealander after an instant classic at UFC 281 in 2022.
After losing their rematch the following year, Pereira moved up to light heavyweight and claimed the title in his second fight in the division.
Since then Pereira has continued to rule over 205lbs - a decision loss to Magomed Ankalaev in March notwithstanding - and could now look to make history by moving up once more.
No fighter has ever won a UFC title in three separate weight classes but with his devastating striking skills Pereira has the power to stop even the giants of the heavyweight division.
At 38, Poatan likely doesn't have too many years left at the very top of the sport. Will he look to secure sporting immortality by claiming the heavyweight crown in 2026?
