Seattle Seahawks, the defending NFL champions, will look to get back on track when they travel to Empower Field at Mile High to take on Denver Broncos in the early hours of Friday morning.
Seattle remain second in the NFC West, despite dropping to 3-2 over the weekend after a 29-32 defeat to divisional rivals, the San Francisco 49ers.
The Seahawks have now lost two of their last three and they take on a Denver side that has won three in four.
However, not all is well within the Denver camp and Seattle's stingy defence can help their team to victory in the opening game of Week 6 of the 2026 NFL season.
Best Bet - Seattle Seahawks -3.0 @ 25/26
Alternative Bet - Under 40.5 points @ 10/11
Bet Builder - Jaxon Smith-Njigba over 90.5 receiving yards, J.K. Dobbins over 13.5 rushing attempts & Bo Nix under 202.5 passing yards @ 23/4
Best Bet: Seattle Seahawks -3.0 @ 25/26
Seattle have lost two of their last three, but a deeper dive into their results suggests they are still the team to beat in this matchup.
Mike Macdonald's team have only lost by three points or fewer this season and they are still incredibly tough to beat defensively.
The Seahawks defence has conceded 251.2 yards per game, the lowest total in the NFL.
They have conceded only 150.8 passing yards per game and that should give them a strong platform against a Denver team that has only recorded 182.8 passing yards per game, the eighth-lowest in the NFL.
To add to that, Denver have three of their secondary on the treatment table and it is unclear if any of their key defenders will be fit in time.
On a short turnaround with a banged-up secondary, a game against the reigning champions is the last thing Denver needs.
Alternative Bet: Under 40.5 points @ 10/11
Denver have scored 23 points or fewer in four of their five matches and there's every chance they struggle against Seattle.
The Seahawks have been a bit sloppy at times and allowed teams to score touchdowns in garbage time, but Denver's offence is at a crossroads.
Head coach Sean Payton stripped offensive coordinator Davis Webb of playcalling duties earlier this month, but Payton was unable to make a huge difference in his first game in charge against the Los Angeles Chargers.
With issues across the board with their execution, Denver are unlikely to rack up the points and the under line is 4-1 in Denver's games so far.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba over 90.5 receiving yards
J.K. Dobbins over 13.5 rushing attempts
Bo Nix under 202.5 passing yards
Pays @ 23/4
Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold has had some accuracy issues this season, throwing seven touchdowns and five interceptions.
Despite this, star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has recorded four games of over 100 receiving yards, including the defeat to the 49ers.
He is arguably the best pass catcher in the NFL right now and he can rack up the numbers against a weakened Denver secondary.
Denver's passing issues should mean quarterback Bo Nix falls short of 200 passing yards. Nix has only surpassed 200 yards twice in three games and he is out of form against the best passing defence in the NFL.
That should mean running back J.K. Dobbins is given a heavier workload and he should run at least 14 times, just like he has in two of his last three appearances.
