Both the Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears are heading into Sunday’s Week 6 showdown on the back of disappointing defeats last time out as Chicago were blown out 31-7 by their rivals the Green Bay Packers.
Meanwhile the Falcons fell to an overtime defeat to the Baltimore Ravens after Tua Tagovailoa’s late interception. Both teams will be eyeing a comeback in this NFC clash.
Best Bet – Bears -1.5 @ 50/51
Alternative Bet – Colston Loveland Anytime Touchdown @ 7/4
Bet Builder – Over 52.5 points, Bijan Robinson over 96.5 rushing yards & Caleb Williams Anytime Touchdown @ 10/2
Best Bet: Bears -1.5 @ 50/51
The Chicago Bears may have gone 2-1 with quarterback Caleb Williams out with a hamstring injury but they will have been desperate for him to return after their humbling at the hands of the Green Bay Packers last week.
Williams had 3,942 yards last season, throwing 27 touchdowns to seven interceptions, and he looked at his best in their Week 1 demolition of the Carolina Panthers.
Their Week 2 loss to the Minnesota Vikings was mired by his injury and with their star back at the helm, they look set for a smooth success over the Atlanta Falcons.
Michael Penix Jr. looks set to return from the rib injury which kept him out of their overtime defeat to the Baltimore Ravens last week but they have given up 30 or more points in both of their home games and look vulnerable against a Bears team who will bounce back with Williams back under centre.
Chicago have the best rushing attack in the NFL and with their star man back at quarterback, they are worth siding with to cover the handicap in this clash.
Alternative Bet: Colston Loveland Anytime Touchdown @ 7/4
Colston Loveland has had an uncharacteristically quiet season but looks set to return to life with Caleb Williams back at quarterback for the Chicago Bears.
The tight end had six touchdowns last season and has had 107 yards over his last three games. With his influence increasing, he looks a tempting price to have a score in this game.
Over 52.5 points
Bijan Robinson over 96.5 rushing yards
Caleb Williams Anytime Touchdown
Pays 10/1
With both teams seeing their first-string quarterback return for this clash, the overs looks very gettable.
Bijan Robinson has been the best rusher in the NFL this season, averaging 116 yards per game. Against a team who allowed a number of explosive plays last week, he looks set to go over his rushing total of 96.5.
Caleb Williams rushed for two touchdowns in Week 1 and is a tempting price for another in this game.

The Chicago Bears are 12-3 on the handicap against non-divisional opponents since the start of last season
The Atlanta Falcons have lost both of their home games this season
The Bears are 5-2 against the spread when coming off a loss under Ben Johnson
Chicago allowed 367 passing yards against Green Bay last week
The Bears had 59 points in Week One
Atlanta’s Bijan Robinson leads the league with 580 rushing yards
Both teams will be hoping to have their first-string quarterbacks return from injury for this one. Michael Penix Jr. had to come out of the Atlanta Falcons’ loss to the Baltimore Ravens last time out with a rib injury but is expected to return.
Meanwhile, the Bears’ Caleb Williams has practiced this week as he recovers from a hamstring injury and while he has been listed as questionable for this game, surely after the disappointing performance of Tyson Bagnet last week the Bears will opt for Williams if he is close to ready.
The Bears are definitely without Kyler Gordon, Kyle Monangai, T.J. Edwards, Dayo Odeyingbo and Keyshaun Elliot while Tyrique Stevenson is questionable. C.J. Henderson is out for the Falcons and Z’Darius Smith is questionable.
