Buffalo Bills v New England Patriots Prediction, Tips and Bet Builder

Buffalo Bills will look to solidify the top spot in the AFC East on Sunday when they play host to divisional rivals New England Patriots.

Buffalo are coasting to another AFC East title at 3-0, with both the Patriots and New York Jets at 1-2, while the Dolphins have started the campaign with three consecutive defeats.

The Bills have hit the ground running thanks to the brilliance of quarterback Josh Allen, while the Patriots have regressed after a slow start from Drake Maye.

Buffalo Bills v New England Patriots Prediction

Best Bet: Buffalo Bills -7.0 @ 20/21

Buffalo have leaned heavily on the brilliance of Allen once again this season, with the 30-year-old throwing for 786 yards in three games.

He has thrown five touchdown passes and it's been a good job he's started so well, as the Bills' defence has been generous, to say the least.

The hosts have conceded 31 points in two of their last three, but they face a Patriots team that have looked a little lost.

New England have scored 10 points or fewer in two of their three games and have yet to score over 20 points.

While they should have a bit more joy against the Bills defence, they conceded 35 points to the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo should have too much firepower on home soil.

Alternative Bet: Over 48.5 points @ 20/23

Both meetings between the two teams last season surpassed 43 points, with the final encounter in December seeing 66 points scored.

Buffalo have been keen to go toe-to-toe in all three games, and they appear happy to use the mantra that offence is the best form of defence.

With Allen under centre, it is easy to see why, and Buffalo should be able to rack up the points against New England in front of their own supporters.

The Patriots have been disappointing, but against a Bills defence that has conceded 26.0 points per game, they should be able to score enough points to help this game surpass the 48.0-point mark.

Buffalo Bills v New England Patriots Bet Builder Tip

  • Josh Allen to score a touchdown

  • Drake Maye over 222.5 passing yards

  • Dalton Kincaid Over 53.5 receiving yards

    Pays @ 22/5

Allen has been devastating through the air and on the ground and he has rushed for six touchdowns in three games so far.

His sheer size and power make him a real option near the goal line and he should power over for his seventh rushing touchdown of the campaign.

He will lean on tight end Dalton Kincaid, who surpassed 108 receiving yards in his last game against New England at home last season. Kincaid has surpassed 95 receiving yards on two occasions this season, so expect him to have a big say in the outcome of Sunday's contest.

Patriots quarterback Maye has performed way below his usual standards, but against a poor Bills defence, he may be able to regain some confidence.

Maye has thrown six interceptions and only one touchdown, but he has secured at least 175 passing yards in each game.

With Buffalo coughing up 254.3 passing yards per game, Maye can bounce back this weekend.
