San Francisco 49ers are one of only three unbeaten teams in the NFL, but with Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings standing at 5-0 having already had their bye weeks, Kyle Shanahan's side can become the first to reach six wins when they host Washington Commanders.
The Commanders are 1-3-1 heading into the Week 6 contest having botched the ending of their game against New York Giants last week which ended in a 27-27 despite Dan Quinn's side being in field-goal range in the final minute of overtime.
The 49ers have overcome a host of injury issues to reach 5-0 but last week's NFC West win over Seattle Seahawks was their closest contest so far as they won 32-29 on the road.
Best Bet - San Francisco 49ers -7.5 @ 25/28
Alternative Bet - Under 52.5 points @ 20/23
Bet Builder - George Kittle over 64.5 receiving yards, Austin Ekeler over 30.5 rushing and receiving yards & Sonny Styles over 7.5 tackles and assists @ 6/1
Best Bet: San Francisco 49ers -7.5 @ 25/28
Favourites have had a tough time in recent NFL primetime games with the Seahawks on Thursday night and Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night becoming the latest two favoured teams to flop, but the 49ers look capable of avoiding a similar fate against the struggling Commanders.
Both teams have had a host of injury issues to contend with, but the 49ers have done a far superior job of getting on with the task at hand, beating the Rams, Dolphins, Cardinals, Broncos and Seahawks despite a constant stream of injuries to their wide receivers.
The Commanders got their starting quarterback Jayden Daniels back in action last week after he missed the previous two games with a nasty elbow injury, but they weren't able to get the job done in their NFC East clash against the Giants and this is a much tougher task.
They tied with the Giants just seven days after a humbling 30-13 loss to Indianapolis Colts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and now face a long trip in the other direction to meet the 49ers, who have won their first three games at Levi's Stadium by at least six points.
The handicap for this game is more than a converted touchdown but having seen off last season's top seeds in the AFC and NFC over the last two weeks, the 49ers should relish this less taxing assignment.
Alternative Bet: Under 52.5 points @ 20/23
The total points line for this game is high at 52.5 points and going under could pay off.
Both teams played in contests that went over that mark last week, but a more subdued encounter looks likely this time.
The Commanders have some sound defensive players, with cornerback Amik Robertson having a keen eye for the ball and rookie linebacker Sonny Styles making an excellent early impression and a more workmanlike 49ers win could be on the cards.
The home side won their first two games comfortably against the Rams (27-7) and Dolphins (35-13) without the total reaching the line here and a score in a similar region would not be a surprise.
George Kittle over 64.5 receiving yards
Austin Ekeler over 30.5 rushing and receiving yards
Sonny Styles over 7.5 tackles and assists
Pays 6/1
Start a three-leg bet builder on the final game of NFL Week 6 by taking 49ers tight end George Kittle to have 65 or more receiving yards.
The Commanders have shown a weakness at defending tight ends so far this season with Isaiah Likely of the Giants having 94 receiving yards and two touchdowns against them last week, while AJ Barner of the Seahawks went for 69 yards.
Given the 49ers' shortage of healthy wide receivers, it makes sense for QB Brock Purdy to target the powerful Kittle this week.
Austin Ekeler should be more involved in the Commanders' offence this week with starting running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt ruled out and he is worth backing to have 31 or more all-purpose yards in the game.
Ekeler has had totals of 40 and 14 yards in his first two appearances for the team, but he could be second in line for carries behind Rachaad White this week and still has the ability to beat tacklers at the age of 31.
Sonny Styles has been in the thick of the action in his rookie season and the Commanders' linebacker can record eight or more tackles and assists for the third successive game trying to keep the home side's rushing attack at bay.

The 49ers have won all of their first five games and have covered the handicap in four of their five games
The Commanders have won only one of their five matches this season
Washington have not covered the handicap in either of their last two games
San Francisco's Christian McCaffrey has scored five rushing TDs this season
49ers tight end George Kittle has had three games with 70+ receiving yards this year
The 49ers will be without wide receiver Deebo Samuel (hamstring), defensive end Nick Bosa (knee, calf) and safety Marques Sigle (ankle).
Wide receivers Mike Evans (ribs & Achilles) and Christian Kirk (calf) are rated questionable, along with defensive lineman Mykel Williams (knee).
The Commanders will not have their starting running back Croskey-Merritt due to a groin injury, so White and Ekeler will lead their ground attack and Jeremy McNichols has a chance to return from a quad injury.
Linebacker Javontae Jean-Baptiste (pectoral) and defensive end Charles Omenihu (groin, ankle) have also been ruled out, while wide receiver Stefon Diggs (hamstring) is questionable.
However, fellow wideouts Terry McLaurin (hamstring) and Treylon Burks (shoulder) are likely to play.
