Most appearances with teammate Clarence Seedorf

Widely regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation, Clarence Seedorf made over 800 senior appearances over the course of his two-decade career.

One of the most esteemed graduates of the famed Ajax Academy, Seedorf would go on to turn out for some of Europe's biggest clubs, becoming the only player in history to have won the UEFA Champions League with three different teams.

After winning Europe's premier club competition with Ajax, Seedorf would depart the club in 1995 to join Serie A side Sampdoria as one of the earliest beneficiaries of the Bosman ruling.

Just one year later he was on the move again. This time his destination was the Spanish capital and Seedorf would go on to claim a host of honours during a four-year stint with Los Blancos, including helping the club to their first Champions League triumph in 32 years.

Inter Milan paid €24 million to secure Seedorf's signature in December 1999, but it was in the red side of the city that he would enjoy the most decorated spell of his career.

Having joined AC Milan in 2002 Seedorf claimed his third Champions League title during his maiden campaign with the club, and would go on to add another - his fourth - as well as two league titles and the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup.

Having plied his trade at some of Europe's top clubs the players to have made the most appearances alongside Seedorf are unsurprisingly a who's who of some of the most iconic talent of the 2000s.

Standing above all the rest with an astonishing 309 appearances together is Italian football legend Andrea Pirlo.
