England's World Cup dream remains alive and kicking, at least for the time being.
Despite one or two hairy moments against minnows Panama on Saturday night, Thomas Tuchel's side secured the three points they needed to claim top spot in Group L and land themselves in the more favourable half of the knockout stage draw.
Goals from Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane mean the Three Lions now have a last 32 tie with African qualifiers DR Congo to look forward to, before a potentially mouthwatering affair with co-hosts Mexico at their fabled Azteca Stadium.
By finishing at the summit of their group, England won't have to worry about the likes of France and Spain until the final - if they get there of course.
But that's not to say their route to a first World Cup final in six decades will be straightforward.
DR Congo and Mexico will provide a stern test to Tuchel's men, and if they come through those, then South American heavyweights Brazil likely await in the last eight.
Providing the favourites continue to progress from the knockout stage matches, then it would be reigning champions Argentina in the semi-finals, with the reward for overcoming Lionel Messi and co more than likely a crack at either France or Spain.
There's a long way to go between now and the New Jersey-staged final on July 19, but at least we can start to plot our route to a potential date with destiny.
Thomas Tuchel's men will be back in action on Wednesday July 1 when they tackle DR Congo in the last 32 of this summer's World Cup.
The clash is scheduled for a 17:00 (BST) start time in Atlanta, Georgia, which will be at midday (local time).
