The Professional Fighters League is set for a wild weekend with their last event of July, PFL New York.
PFL New York takes place at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York and features a title fight in the PFL Lightweight division between Usman Nurmagomedov and Archie Colgan.
The fights begin at 9PM with the Early Card and will be followed by the Main Card at approximately Midnight.

Nurmagomedov continues to impress in the PFL, having most recently beaten Alfie Davis by Technical Submission back in February of 2026. This win pushed his MMA record to 21-0 and 3-0 in the PFL.
As the PFL Lightweight title holder, Nurmagomedov will be looking to defend his title for the second consecutive fight.
His opponent and challenger, Colgan, also has a perfect MMA record of 13-0, while he is 2-0 in the PFL and is the #3 contender in the PFL Lightweight division.
Both of his PFL wins came in 2025, first in June when he beat Mansour Barnaoui by unanimous decision and then in October, when he defeated Jay-Jay Wilson, also by unanimous decision.
Colgan finds himself as a massive underdog in this title fight and rightly so, as Nurmagomedov has looked nigh-on unbeatable throughout his entire career.
That said, the fact that Colgan has yet to lose any MMA fight, let alone in the PFL, shows his resilience and his ability to wear down his opponents.
Against Nurmagomedov, this is easier said than done, but Colgan will likely be the toughest challenge the man from Dagestan has had in his short PFL career.

Nurmagomedov has seen 15 of his 21 MMA fights end inside the distance, but while that could be seen as worrying, three of his last four MMA fights have gone the distance, which includes two of his three PFL fights.
Colgan, on the other hand, has seen seven of his 13 career MMA fights go the distance, which includes his last six MMA fights in a row and both of his career PFL fights.
