Casemiro looks set to be afforded an Old Trafford send-off after returning from an injury that saw him miss Manchester United's draw with Sunderland.
The Brazilian midfielder has trained alongside his United team-mates this week ahead of Sunday's clash with Nottingham Forest.
Casemiro had been left out of the matchday squad as Michael Carrick's side were held to a goalless draw at the Stadium of Light last weekend, prompting concerns that he could miss out on the remainder of their run-in.
However, the club's official website reported on Wednesday that Casemiro had participated in a group session that morning and will be available for selection for the visit of Vitor Pereira's side.
The game will allow Casemiro a chance to wave goodbye to the Old Trafford faithful as he prepares to depart United when his contract expires in the summer.
United will also wear next season's home shirt for their final home game of the Premier League season, with the new adidas jersey said to be inspired by the club's kits in the 1970s.
This campaign has been by far the most successful of Casemiro's four years in England since the five-time UEFA Champions League winner arrived from Real Madrid for a reported £70million in the summer of 2022 in terms of individual performances.
A strong partnership with a returning Kobbie Mainoo in the centre of midfield has been key to the club's success since Carrick returned to the dugout in January.
In addition, Casemiro's nine league goals marks a career best return with only Benjamin Sesko managing a better return in front of goal for the club this season.
Speaking ahead of this weekend's fixture he admitted that waving goodbye to the club's fans could prove to be a tearjerker.
"Honestly I feel so happy, especially for the affection from the fans, and the respect they have for me," he told the club's website.
"I am hoping not to cry on my last day as it is such a beautiful experience, my wife already cried when the fans were asking for one more year.
"So, I just want to enjoy it, enjoy all the moments and I will be a United fan for the rest of my life."
