Aston Villa continued their pre season preparations with a 3-1 win against Thai Premier League side BG Pathum United this afternoon.
The Villans headed into the contest having won the opening match of their Asia tour 3-1 against an Indonesian All-Stars outfit.
Emery's side got off to the perfect start in the match, with Emiliano Buendia clinically slotting home from Matty Cash's cutback.
Villa established full control from minute one across the contest and they asserted dominance on proceedings by bagging their second of the first half on the 31st minute mark, with Victor Lindelof firing a well-placed header past the goalkeeper from Alysson's cross.
The Villans had multiple chances to extend their lead further in the first half, but - without a natural striker on the field - couldn't tap home a number of good crosses into the box.
The only negative to an almost perfect 45 minutes was Alejandro Garnacho, who was forced off after 43 minutes with a bloody mouth, though the Argentine had struggled throughout the first half.
After the break, a wholly changed Villa side continued to control the match, with Brian Madjo - who was today cleared to play for Aston Villa competitively - going close on a couple of occasions.
The third was finally added on the 62nd minute through Boubacar Kamara, who had made his eagerly awaited return to football following a long-term injury sustained in January.
At 3-0 and cruising, Aston Villa were dealt a heavy blow, with talismanic captain John McGinn forced off with what looked to be a knee injury in the 76th minute, leaving the Villans playing out the remainder of the contest with 10 men.
The hosts did pull one back in the 82nd minute, with Leon James - who was booked for the challenge on McGinn which ultimately forced the Scot off - lashing one into the top corner from the edge of the box.
The match petered out for the remaining eight minutes, giving the Villans a second consecutive 3-1 win during their tour of Asia.
Emery's side face Bayern Munich in Hong Kong on Friday afternoon UK time, in what will be their final match before the Super Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain.
