Liverpool continued their pre-season preparations with a 1-0 victory over Championship outfit Wrexham at the Yankee Stadium in New York.
The Reds remain without the likes of Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch, so the squad was a mix of youth and experience in The Big Apple.
Dominik Szoboszlai, Milos Kerkez and Giorgi Mamardashvili were amongst the senior representatives in the starting XI, while Joshua Abe and Ifeanyi Ndukwe were amid the youth prospects given the opportunity to impress.
As for Wrexham, they fielded a relatively strong side -- including former Red Danny Ward -- and had experienced depth off the bench too, with Kieffer Moore, Dominic Hyam and Nathan Broadhead amongst those entering play in the latter stages of the game.
Only a Rio Ngumoha goal -- which came with a slice of luck -- could separate the two sides, ending The Red Dragons' unbeaten run in pre-season after wins over Manchester United and Leeds United.
