The 2026 League of Ireland Premier Division commences on Friday 6th February and will draw to a close with the last round of fixtures on Friday 30th October.

Reigning champions Shamrock Rovers head into the campaign as the unsurprising favourites, beating Derry City to the title by three points last term.

The Dublin-based outfit have won five of the last six top flight campaigns and lead the way with the most honours in the competition, winning the title on 22 occasions.

Last season's runners-up, Derry City, feature prominently in the betting, looking to win the top flight campaign for the first time since the 1996/97 season.

St Patrick's Athletic, who finished fifth last term, and Shelbourne, who tasted League of Ireland success as recently as 2024, will be looking to dethrone Shamrock Rovers this season.
