Hull City are reportedly close to agreeing a deal to sign towering striker Ilyas Ansah from Bundesliga side Union Berlin.
It has been a tumultuous summer in the transfer market for the Tigers thus far, with eleven senior signings having already made their way to the newly-promoted side.
However, Hull have also been left to rue multiple deals that looked certain to be completed before ultimately not materialising, with a failed pursuit Real Betis winger Pablo Garcia the latest example.
While some deals have proven difficult to get over the line, a move for German youth international Ansah is said to be at an advanced stage.
According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany, Hull have made an offer worth up to £19million (€22m) to sign the 21-year-old striker.
Personal terms are reportedly not set to be an issue with Ansah intent on playing in the Premier League, with Hull hopeful of getting the deal over the line as they prepare to face fellow top-flight new boys Coventry at the CBS Arena on Saturday.
Standing at an imposing 6ft 6ins, Ansah made his senior debut with Paderborn in the German second tier before joining Bundesliga side Union Berlin last summer.
The 21-year-old - who netted against Albania in his Germany U21 debut in September - registered five league goals and three assists from 23 starts in his maiden campaign at the Stadion An der Alten Forsterei.
