The 2026 Diamond League season comes to a close this weekend as the world's best athletes head to Brussels for the Allianz Memorial Van Damme, which celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Across 32 track and field events, athletes will be battling for the prestigious Diamond Trophy and a share of the lucrative $2.24million USD prize fund on offer for the Finals.
There is also the added incentive of securing qualification for the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship, where the winners in Brussels will secure an automatic place for the competition in Budapest next week.
Two world records fell at the Diamond League meeting in Zurich last week as Alison dos Santos triumphed in the 400m hurdles and Masai Russell reigned supreme in the 100m hurdles, and there's the promise of more record-breaking action in Belgium.
