Wales travel to Portugal to open their Nations League campaign.

Jorge Jesus is the new man in the Portugal dugout, replacing Roberto Martinez following their disappointing last 16 exit at the World Cup and has included 41-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo in his first squad. Rumours that swirled regarding Ronaldo's retirement from international football over the summer seemed to be premature as he retains his place in a squad that he has been so important to for more than 20 years.
Wales did not make it to the World Cup, instead consigned to three friendlies against Northern Ireland, Ghana and Romania over the summer months, failing to obtain a win. Bellamy will be keen to get his side back on track ahead of the 2028 Euros on home soil, but Thursday night's assignment looks a difficult one on paper.
